Welcome to my GITA 3 Portfolio. Exploring the intersection of code, design, and engineering.
Building upon the foundations of HTML and CSS, last year gave me the confidence to structure web pages effectively. I learned the importance of responsive design and clean code structure.
This year, my focus has shifted to JavaScript. I have learned how to implement dynamic functions and create engaging animations to bring static pages to life.
Academic: My goal for this semester is to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Career: I aim to major in Aerospace Engineering, contributing to the future of space exploration and aviation technology.
The Global IT Academy (GITA) is a comprehensive computer science pathway at BOHS. It empowers students with skills in web design, programming, AP Computer Science, and game development.
Boy Scouts: I am currently a Life Rank Scout and serve as the Quartermaster for my troop.
Community Service: I volunteer at the OC Kimchi Festival helping seniors and assisted in the production of "Dosan: The Story of Ahn Chang Ho".

This was my first time using p5.js and javascript. I coded an artsy arrangement of text to be a collage of words about me.
I learned how to create shapes, and recreated my avatar drawing in a holiday card.
I learned how to animate my designs, and created a loopable landscape animation.
I used my animation and design knowledge to create a step by step tutorial on how to kickflip.
This is our first attempt at making a game. I used my animation skills and some game logic to make a clicking reaction game for kids.
I created a more complicated game using arrays and custom classes. In this game, you are a helicopter that saves fuel while dropping bombs on enemies.
We now created a game that uses projectile physics and more game logic.
